Cruise Costs Explained

Base Cruise Fare
The prices found on the Cabin Pricing page are the base cruise fares per person. Cruise prices are based upon double occupancy (two people in a cabin), so if you plan to go solo, expect to pay nearly twice as much. The cost includes your onboard accommodations, ocean transportation, most meals, some beverages, an insane amount of live rock and roll music, and lots of other cool stuff that makes Rock Legends Cruise an awesome experience – like Artist Photo Ops, Rock and Roll Memorabilia Auctions, Raffles, and Artist Interviews, to name a few!

Port Taxes, Fees and Daily Onboard Gratuities
For Standard Cabins (Junior Suites and below) an additional $300 per person will be added to your cruise fare at the time of booking to cover government taxes, port fees and your daily onboard gratuities ($16.00 per person per day/$64 total for cruise).

For Suites (Grand Suites and above) an additional $312 per person will be added to your cruise fare at the time of booking to cover government taxes, port fees and your daily onboard gratuities ($18.50 per person per day/$74 total for cruise).

Daily onboard gratuities apply to guests of ALL ages and stateroom categories. They are shared between your onboard service team which includes dining services, your stateroom attendant and other hotel services. If a crew member provides exceptional services, please reward them with an additional gratuity/tip onboard.

After you pick out your cabin category, take the per person cruise fare and add $300 or $312 for your taxes, port fees and daily gratuities to get the total per person cost. From there you can calculate your total stateroom cost. That is the total amount you will be responsible for paying.

Who Gets the Daily Gratuities?
Curious about where those daily onboard gratuities go? They are shared between your Royal Caribbean onboard service team members: Dining Services, Housekeeping Services/Stateroom Attendant, Other Hotel Services

Also keep in mind an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all bar service beverages, mini bar items and salon and spa services. These gratuities are itemized on your receipt.

Food and Beverages
Wait a minute – I thought food and beverages were included on a Royal Caribbean cruise! You are correct, some food and beverages are included in your fare. The reality is, most people opt to get more than just what’s included. From sodas and beers to meals in the specialty restaurants, there’s plenty to be had. You can purchase non-alcoholic beverage packages and make restaurant reservations during the Royal Caribbean Online Check-In process or after you board the ship. Alcoholic drink packages are not available for purchase during Rock Legends Cruise.

Excursions
Shore excursions include a variety of tours, shows and other activities you can take advantage of while the ship is in port. Excursions vary in price and duration. You may book shore excursions online after you complete the Royal Caribbean Online Check-In process or once onboard the ship. We will post information about the excursions that will be offered, closer to the cruise dates.

Trip Insurance
Yes, Trip Insurance is another optional cost of your cruise, but from what we’ve witnessed (this isn’t our first rodeo, we have seen and heard it all, so you can trust us on this), it is well worth strong consideration! Trip Insurance Information

What Passengers Think

My wife and I will NEVER MISS The Rock Legends Cruise. We make at least a 2 week vacation out of it, driving down from Cleveland. Pam and the staff at NAHA do an incredible job every year. Whenever we think it can’t get any better than this, it does. It’s a RocknRoll Fantasy. Love to all.

Brian and Karen, NEVER MISS Brian and Karen, NEVER MISS

Every year it gets better and better. All the hard work by NAHA and the organizers shines through every year making this such an outstanding rock festival at sea. The friendships I have made over the years have made life better all year round and I owe that all to this event. Line-up is always top notch and the non-stop music is what every music fan is desperately searching for, and here you have it, 4 unforgettable, amazing days that stay with you all year long as you anxiously await the next sailing. Bring on 2025!
